Welcome to SpinBox, your convenient fluff and fold laundry service and dry cleaner. We value our customers, and these terms and conditions are designed to ensure a smooth and delightful experience for everyone. Please be aware that these terms may be updated occasionally without prior notice, so we encourage you to check back regularly to stay informed.

This agreement is a legally binding contract. It is your responsibility to read this agreement carefully before using our services and to regularly review its terms. By using our services, you agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, you must stop using the services immediately. SpinBox reserves the right to modify, amend, replace, suspend, or terminate this agreement at any time at its sole discretion. It is the customer's responsibility to review the terms regularly to be aware of any changes.

Delivery Service:

We aim to return your laundry within 2-3 business days, excluding weekends, federal holidays, and closure days. Larger or specialty orders may take longer, and unforeseen delays such as weather or high demand can occur. We’ll keep you informed and work to deliver your laundry as quickly as possible. We deliver orders back to the original pickup location, even if no one is home to receive them. If someone needs to be home to receive the order, please let us know, and we will try to accommodate your request based on our availability.

Note that we will not deliver your order until you have paid for our service through Square’s invoice. No exceptions.

Lost or Stolen Bags:

We are not responsible for any lost or stolen bags or items once they're dropped off at your residence or business. We are not responsible for any lost or stolen bags or items prior to pickup as well.

Limitation of Liability:

While we take every precaution to care for your items, there is inherent risk in the laundry and transportation process. If any items are damaged or lost due to our fault, we'll work with you to resolve the issue. You must notify us within 24 hours of receiving your order and we'll do our best to make it right. Our maximum liability for any and all damages or losses in the same order is limited to a maximum of twice the total cost of that order.

Right to Refuse Service:

We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual or entity for various reasons, including violations of our terms, disruptive behavior, or at our discretion.

Service Limitations

• We do not guarantee the removal of all stains or odors, and persistent stains may require additional treatments at an extra charge.

• Customers are responsible for checking garment pockets for valuables. We are not liable for items left in clothing, such as money, jewelry, or personal belongings.

• Items infested with pests, such as bedbugs or lice, will be rejected and may incur a contamination fee.

Damaged or Missing Items

SpinBox is not responsible for damage caused by:

• Items left in pockets (e.g., pens, lipstick, gum, etc.).

• Normal wear and tear, including color fading, shrinkage, or fabric thinning.

• Manufacturer defects or improper care labeling.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers must ensure their laundry does not contain hazardous materials, such as sharp objects, chemicals, or biohazards. Customers are also responsible for properly labeling their items, if required, and collecting their orders within the specified timeframe to avoid storage fees.

Force Majeure

SpinBox is not liable for delays or service disruptions due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, power outages, labor strikes, pandemics, or governmental actions.

Communication & Notifications

By using our services, you agree to receive notifications regarding your orders via SMS, email, or phone calls. You may opt out of promotional messages at any time; however, essential service-related communications will continue.

Dispute Resolution

By using our services, you agree that any disputes, claims, or controversies arising out of or relating to our services, including these terms and conditions, shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration administered by JAMS in accordance with its Comprehensive Arbitration Rules and Procedures. The arbitration shall take place in California before a single arbitrator, and the decision shall be final and binding on both parties.

You expressly waive the right to bring any claims in court, including participation in any class-action lawsuits. This arbitration agreement covers all claims, including but not limited to those based on contract, tort, statute, fraud, misrepresentation, or any other legal theory.

Each party shall bear its own costs and fees associated with arbitration, except where otherwise required by law.

Disclaimer:

We may refuse to clean certain items at our discretion.

Customers are required to declare all pre-existing damage to items at the time of pick-up by SpinBox in writing. We expressly disclaim responsibility for any damage to items, irrespective of cause, including, but not limited to, weak or flawed materials, color loss, shrinkage, or damage to delicate or worn-out items. While our service conducts a basic inspection of items, we are not liable for any pre-existing conditions, whether identified or unidentified during inspection. By using our services, customers fully acknowledge and accept these terms, absolving us of any liability related to any item damage.

Customers must clearly identify items that require special care. We reserve the right to refuse service for items we deem too risky to process, such as delicate fabrics that do not have clear care instructions.

SpinBox will make every effort to remove stains and odors from your items; however, we do not guarantee complete removal. We reserve the right to charge for our efforts to remove stains or odors, regardless of the outcome.

Items not delivered within 7 days from the notification of completion of service will be subject to storage fees of 10% of the order value per day. If items are not delivered within 30 days, SpinBox reserves the right to sell, dispose of or donate the items to charity without any liability to the customer.

Prices are subject to change without notice. Please note that all orders must meet a minimum order value. If the total order size is less than the required minimum, you will be charged the difference to meet the minimum order value required for your area.

Privacy Statement:

Protecting your privacy is important to us. We collect and use customer information to provide services, improve our business, and for advertising purposes. Rest assured, we never sell or rent customer information to third parties. Our privacy practices may be updated occasionally, so please review this statement regularly.
